When “I’m Fine” Isn’t Actually Fine
Attachment-informed individual therapy to help you steady your nervous system, understand your patterns, and feel more like yourself again—without having to hold it together alone.
Emotional Clarity Is A Superpower

Emotional Clarity Is A Superpower •
You’re smart, self-aware, and “functional” on paper—work, friendships, responsibilities all look fine.
But underneath, you’re anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck in the same emotional loops that keep spilling into your relationships, work, and sense of self.
Therapy gives you a structured, grounded space to slow down, understand what’s really going on, and change your patterns with professional support—not just more coping alone.
What therapy is (and why it helps)
Therapy with me is a place to exhale, tell the truth, and make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface. It’s focused on healing, stabilization, and symptom relief when life feels heavy, confusing, or hard to manage on your own.
We’ll look at how your history, nervous system, and current circumstances interact—so you’re not just “managing” anxiety, depression, or overwhelm, but actually understanding it and shifting it over time.
In therapy, we may:
Explore your life experiences, emotional patterns, and triggers—and name what’s really going on.
Connect how past experiences shape your current reactions in relationships, work, and daily life.
Deepen your relationship with yourself, including self-talk, self-worth, and how you show up with others.
Build coping skills and emotional regulation tools that work with your nervous system, not against it.
Address anxiety, ADHD, depression, or stress in a paced, sustainable way.
Therapy is not about “fixing” you; it’s about helping you feel more grounded, supported, and capable in your own life.

Who Therapy Is For
Therapy is a good fit if you’re high-functioning on the outside but struggling internally with patterns you can’t quite shift on your own.
You may recognize yourself if you’re:
Pretty self-aware, but want deeper clarity on why you react the way you do.
Experiencing anxiety, low mood, emotional overwhelm, or burnout.
Stuck in painful or confusing relationship patterns—romantic, family, work, or friendships.
Feeling disconnected from yourself or unsure how to move forward after a big change or loss.
Navigating a major life transition (move, breakup, career change, identity shift).
Wanting professional support for mental health symptoms, not just tips from social media.
You don’t have to be in crisis to start therapy—you just have to want support.
What to Expect From the Process:
Therapy isn’t a quick fix—but it is a consistent, intentional space where change becomes possible.
You don’t have to show up “put together.” You just have to show up.
You can expect:
A space where you don’t have to perform, minimize, or have it all figured out.
Honest, direct conversations without shame or judgment.
Support in understanding yourself more clearly, so your choices feel less chaotic and more grounded.
Tools and frameworks that help you feel steadier over time—in your body, your emotions, and your relationships.
Change happens gradually, and that’s okay.
We’ll move at a pace that feels safe and sustainable for you.

What It’s Like to Work With Me
Clients describe me as easy to connect with, relatable, and non-judgmental. I’m compassionate and direct, and I care deeply about making therapy feel like a place you can actually be yourself—not a performance.
We’ll do deep processing work, but there’s also room for humor and levity when it fits. I believe the therapeutic relationship itself is one of the biggest catalysts for change, so my goal is to help you feel as comfortable and safe as possible while we do this work.
If you’d like, Arlo—my 2‑year‑old, hypoallergenic Bernedoodle and therapy-dog-in-training—can join us in the room, or I’m just as happy to leave him at home.
UnPattern: Individual Therapy
Solo & Self-Actualized
For people who are single or intentionally on their own and want to build a grounded, meaningful life—without feeling behind, restless, or pressured to “figure it out.” Therapy supports self-trust, clarity, and emotional steadiness during solo seasons.

Frequently Asked Questions
Below are the most common questions I’m asked about therapy.
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
Therapy may be a good fit if you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, emotionally ungrounded, or repeating patterns you don’t fully understand — and want deeper, ongoing support to work through them.
If you’re unsure whether therapy, coaching, or a digital intensive is the right starting point, we can talk that through during your clarity call.
What issues do you help with in therapy?
I work with adults around:
Anxiety and chronic stress
ADHD and executive functioning challenges
Trauma and nervous system dysregulation
Dating and relationship patterns
Breakups and relational loss
Identity shifts, life transitions, and solo seasons
You don’t need to fit into one category to benefit.
Do you offer in-person or virtual therapy?
Yes. I offer:
In-person therapy in San Diego, CA
Telehealth therapy for clients located in California, Colorado, and Utah
How is therapy different from coaching or digital programs?
Therapy is licensed mental health treatment and is appropriate when you’re working with anxiety, trauma, depression, ADHD, or significant emotional distress.
Coaching and digital intensives focus on education and skill-building.
Therapy allows for deeper exploration, nervous system care, and clinical support—paced according to your capacity.
If another option is a better fit, I’ll let you know honestly.
Do I need to have a specific diagnosis to start therapy?
No. Many people start therapy because something feels off, overwhelming, or confusing — even if they don’t have a diagnosis.
We focus on understanding your experience, not labeling it unnecessarily.
Is therapy short-term or long-term?
That depends on your goals and needs.
Some people come for short-term, focused work. Others stay longer to explore patterns, heal past experiences, or build emotional steadiness over time.
We’ll revisit pacing and goals together as therapy unfolds.
How do I get started?
You can start by scheduling a clarity call. We’ll talk through:
What you’re hoping for
What kind of support makes sense
Whether therapy feels like the right next step
There’s no pressure to commit beyond that conversation.

I do not take insurance directly; however, I can provide superbills (like a receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company for partial reimbursement of fees if your insurance policy offers this benefit for “out-of-network” providers. If you are not sure if you have these benefits, give your insurance company a call and they can clarify.
Please note that I do accept FSA/HSA cards.
-
Here are some helpful questions to ask your insurance provider to determine if they will cover a portion of the therapy for “out-of-network mental health providers/services.”
Is the cost of psychological therapy covered?
Is there a deductible for out-of-network services? Has it been met and if not, how long until the deductible is met?
What portion will be reimbursed?
Is a referral needed?
Is pre-authorization required?
Will a claim be required after services?
The CPT codes are we utilize most are:
90791 (evaluation), 90834 (45 minute psychotherapy session)
-
Sessions are 45-minutes long. It’s recommended to commit to weekly sessions for consistency but we can discuss based on your needs.
