ELEVATE THE WAY YOU LIVE

ELEVATE THE WAY YOU LIVE •

Single and Solo isn't a waiting room — it's your training ground.

You're waiting.

Waiting to buy the house until you have someone to share it with. Waiting to take the trip until you have a travel partner. Waiting to start your life until you meet "the one."

Meanwhile, your actual life is passing you by.

Here's what nobody tells you about being single: The problem isn't that you're alone. The problem is you're treating "single" like a temporary emergency instead of an actual phase of your life worth living.

What if you built a life so full that anyone joining it has to clear a high bar?

Not because you're picky. Because you've created something worth protecting.

Stop waiting for your life to start. Start building a life worth protecting.

Dr. Lindsay is here to help!

I’m Dr. Lindsay O’Shea (PhD), a California-based Clinical Psychologist who helps people understand and break repeating relationship patterns.

My work focuses on the space between insight and action—the moment when emotions activate, old strategies take over, and choice narrows. Rather than offering advice or labels, I help people recognize patterns earlier and respond with more clarity and self-trust.

My work bridges attachment science, nervous system awareness, and real-world relationships—without oversimplified advice or blame.

UnPattern was created for people who are insightful, self-aware, and still finding themselves stuck in the same cycles. Because knowing better doesn’t always mean choosing differently—until you understand why.

Frequently Asked Questions

Below are the most common questions I hear about Thriving Solo:

Is this for people who never want a relationship? What if I want one later?

Not necessarily. This program is for people who want to feel grounded and whole whether they’re single, dating later, or partnered in the future.

Do I have to stay single during the program?

Absolutely not! The work is about how you relate to yourself, not enforcing a relationship status. Some clients remain single; others begin dating or relating differently. The goal is that whatever you choose, you do so from self-leadership rather than urgency or fear.

Will this help me stop settling or rushing into relationships?

Yes. Thriving solo helps you build self-trust and emotional stability so you’re not dating to escape discomfort or fill a void.

Is it healthy to choose being single on purpose?

Yes. Intentional singlehood can be a powerful period of growth, clarity, and self-trust. This program supports people who want to build a fulfilling life without dating from pressure or fear.

How is being alone different from being lonely?

Being alone is a circumstance; loneliness is a relationship to yourself. This program helps you cultivate connection, meaning, and emotional steadiness while single.

What if I’m doing ‘fine’ already?

This program isn’t for people in crisis. It’s for people who are functional but not fully aligned—and ready to live with more internal coherence and authorship.

What actually happens in coaching meetings?

Each weekly session is a 60-minute, one-on-one coaching conversation focused on:

  • Clarifying identity and values

  • Untangling internalized relational scripts

  • Strengthening emotional self-trust

  • Translating insight into lived change

This is reflective, direct, and practical—not surface-level or prescriptive.

What if I want to date while thriving solo?

Fantastic! Thriving solo doesn’t mean closing yourself off to connection. If and when you choose to date, Date With Discernment helps you do so without losing yourself. If your solo season followed a breakup that still feels unresolved, Breakup Reset may be a helpful place to start.

Who is this program best suited for?

This program is ideal for people who are:

  1. Intentionally single or decentering romantic partnership

  2. Emotionally aware but craving deeper internal alignment

  3. High-functioning and reflective, yet feeling subtly unanchored

  4. Ready to stop organizing their life around “someday”

If you’re looking for dating advice, matchmaking, or relationship repair, this is not the right fit.
