What Therapy Is
My goal is to make you as comfortable as possible while we process emotions and build emotional clarity.
Therapy is a space to slow things down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and work toward meaningful change with professional care and structure. If you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, or feeling stuck in patterns that affect your relationships, work, or sense of self, therapy offers a different kind of support.
It’s designed to support healing, stabilization, and symptom relief — especially when life feels heavy, confusing, or hard to manage alone.
In therapy, we may:
Explore life experiences, emotional patterns, triggers and individualized tools
Understand how past experiences shape current reactions
Explore your relationship with yourself and others
Build coping skills and emotional regulation
Address anxiety, ADHD, depression, or stress
Therapy is not about “fixing” you.
It’s about helping you feel more grounded, supported, and capable in your life.
Who Therapy Is For
Therapy may be a good fit if you’re:
Pretty self-aware, want to deepen your understanding of yourself and how you interact with others
Experiencing anxiety, low mood, or emotional overwhelm
Struggling with relationship patterns that feel painful or confusing
Feeling disconnected from yourself or unsure how to move forward
Navigating a major life transition or loss
Wanting professional support for mental health symptoms
You don’t need to be in crisis to start therapy. You just need to want support.
What to Expect From the Process
Therapy isn’t a quick fix — but it is supportive, structured, and intentional.
You can expect:
A space where you don’t have to perform or have it figured out
Honest conversations without judgment
Support in understanding yourself more clearly
Tools that help you feel steadier over time
Change happens gradually, and that’s okay.

What’s it like to work with me
My clients tell me I’m easy to connect with, relatable, open, and non-judgemental. I am compassionate, direct, open-minded, and inclusive. I have heard and seen it all so there’s no shame in this game! We’ll do deep processing work but also have some laughs too.
I believe the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important factors for this kind of change. My goal is to make you as comfortable as possible opening up. Let’s jump on a call and see if we’d vibe!
Arlo is a 2-year-old, hypoallergenic Bernedoodle and is a great addition to therapy, if you’d like him to join but I’m happy to leave him at home as well.

Individual Therapy
Therapeutic - Get foundational
For when you want personalized, deep pattern processing work tailored to your life - past, present, and future.
You’re looking for a supportive, therapeutic relationship to unpack and unpattern your history to fully understand yourself and reach your goals.
UnPattern: Individual Therapy
Solo & Self-Actualized
For people who are single or intentionally on their own and want to build a grounded, meaningful life—without feeling behind, restless, or pressured to “figure it out.” Therapy supports self-trust, clarity, and emotional steadiness during solo seasons.
Dating
For people who are dating and noticing the same patterns repeat—overthinking, getting attached quickly, or feeling pulled toward unavailable partners. Therapy helps you understand what’s getting activated and make dating choices from clarity instead of anxiety.
Relationships
For people who are in relationships and want to understand emotional reactivity, recurring conflict, or patterns of closeness and distance. Therapy focuses on regulation, boundaries, and building more secure, intentional connection from the inside out.
Breakup Reset
For people who are navigating the end of a relationship and feeling stuck in rumination, grief, or self-doubt. Therapy offers support to process the loss, stabilize your nervous system, and move forward without repeating the same patterns.
ADHD, Anxiety and Trauma
For people who are feeling overwhelmed, dysregulated, or stuck in patterns shaped by anxiety, neurodivergence ADHD, or past experiences. Therapy focuses on nervous system regulation, self-understanding, and practical tools to build steadiness, clarity, and self-trust—at a pace that feels safe and sustainable.
Frequently Asked Questions
Below are the most common questions I’m asked about therapy.
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
Therapy may be a good fit if you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, emotionally ungrounded, or repeating patterns you don’t fully understand — and want deeper, ongoing support to work through them.
If you’re unsure whether therapy, coaching, or a digital intensive is the right starting point, we can talk that through during your clarity call.
What issues do you help with in therapy?
I work with adults around:
Anxiety and chronic stress
ADHD and executive functioning challenges
Trauma and nervous system dysregulation
Dating and relationship patterns
Breakups and relational loss
Identity shifts, life transitions, and solo seasons
You don’t need to fit into one category to benefit.
Do you offer in-person or virtual therapy?
Yes. I offer:
In-person therapy in San Diego, CA
Telehealth therapy for clients located in California, Colorado, and Utah
How is therapy different from coaching or digital programs?
Therapy is licensed mental health treatment and is appropriate when you’re working with anxiety, trauma, depression, ADHD, or significant emotional distress.
Coaching and digital intensives focus on education and skill-building.
Therapy allows for deeper exploration, nervous system care, and clinical support—paced according to your capacity.
If another option is a better fit, I’ll let you know honestly.
Do I need to have a specific diagnosis to start therapy?
No. Many people start therapy because something feels off, overwhelming, or confusing — even if they don’t have a diagnosis.
We focus on understanding your experience, not labeling it unnecessarily.
Is therapy short-term or long-term?
That depends on your goals and needs.
Some people come for short-term, focused work. Others stay longer to explore patterns, heal past experiences, or build emotional steadiness over time.
We’ll revisit pacing and goals together as therapy unfolds.
How do I get started?
You can start by scheduling a clarity call. We’ll talk through:
What you’re hoping for
What kind of support makes sense
Whether therapy feels like the right next step
There’s no pressure to commit beyond that conversation.

I do not take insurance directly; however, I can provide superbills (like a receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company for partial reimbursement of fees if your insurance policy offers this benefit for “out-of-network” providers. If you are not sure if you have these benefits, give your insurance company a call and they can clarify.
Please note that I do accept FSA/HSA cards.
-
Here are some helpful questions to ask your insurance provider to determine if they will cover a portion of the therapy for “out-of-network mental health providers/services.”
Is the cost of psychological therapy covered?
Is there a deductible for out-of-network services? Has it been met and if not, how long until the deductible is met?
What portion will be reimbursed?
Is a referral needed?
Is pre-authorization required?
Will a claim be required after services?
The CPT codes are we utilize most are:
90791 (evaluation), 90834 (45 minute psychotherapy session)
-
Sessions are 45-minutes long. It’s recommended to commit to weekly sessions for consistency but we can discuss based on your needs.
